Service techs, writers, admin and your customers all touch the same simple interface. The complex stuff — vendor catalogs, accounting logic, and automation — runs under the hood. **Only Pro Plan Has All Features Advertised.
Click a module below to see its screenshot and overview.
Case Manager: your daily driver screen
Live case board for Service Writing. Build quotes, send to the customer portal, add notes, attach files and keep every comment in one thread — tech, writer and customer.
- Create cases from the writer portal or use the New Case Module to capture Work Authorization.
- Inventory is searched as you fill in line items, bin location and QTY reduction all right there.
- Send quotes & invoices to the customer portal, and give them access with a magic link — no login hassle.
Edit the whole job from one invoice view
Adjust labor, swap parts, add fees, send to the customer and mark paid — without jumping between screens. The interface stays simple; the workflow logic stays accurate.
- Line items tied back to inventory so stock is correct when you reduce quantity.
- Send or re-send the invoice to the portal in a click.
- “Mark as paid” keeps your accounting clean even when customers pay however they want.
Inventory & major units: SKU, quantity, bin — plus true unit profitability
Under the hood, we host a vendor-optimized product database. On your screen, you just type the SKU, quantity and bin. The system fills in the product details and makes it store-ready — and tracks major units in a way that actually shows profit.
- Pulls titles, descriptions and images straight from our central catalog for parts & accessories.
- Major units management lets you see true profitability on units, especially flips — including recon and fees.
- Nightly price updates keep your online store and quotes aligned to real dealer costs/MSRP.
- OEM ↔ aftermarket mapping in progress: one year/make/model drop-down, multi-vendor options back.
Accounting that understands powersports payroll
One-click payroll, quick revenue snapshots and exports for your accountant. Commission, flag and hourly are all first-class citizens. And yes — Shopwerks includes a full payroll module inside accounting (unlike DX1, which often pushes payroll workflows outside the core system).
- Run payroll in one pass with custom adjustments and email a full pay summary to each tech.
- Revenue views to keep an eye on what’s happening without living in spreadsheets.
- Export to CSV or PDF for whoever handles your books.
Metrics: give techs a scoreboard, not a lecture
Simple efficiency and case metrics so you can see how the shop is really running — As well as an admin overview to give you valuable insights on Inventory and Operations.
- Basic tech efficiency views; full shop metrics can be layered on as you grow.
- Track clock-in time vs. flagged hours, jobs closed and more.
- Admin overview rolls up the whole team’s output, as well as sales numbers.

Frequently asked questions about Shopwerks
Straight answers about pricing, users, features, websites, and fit for independent powersports shops.
The price you start at stays locked for as long as that subscription remains active. Temporary three-month promotional pricing and referral-program credits have their own stated terms; after an introductory promotion, billing moves to the locked ongoing price you accepted. If you cancel and later restart, the current published price may apply.
No. Both Shopwerks Basic and Shopwerks Pro are month-to-month with no required contract or fixed term. If Shopwerks is not the right fit, you can cancel your subscription.
Shopwerks Pro includes unlimited users and roles, including service writers, technicians, administrators, accounting staff and managers, without per-user pricing. Shopwerks Basic is the lighter per-user option for smaller operations.
DMS usually means dealer management system: software connecting service, inventory, customers, payments and reporting. Shopwerks covers that operational scope, but it is built for independent powersports shops—including service-focused shops and parts-only dealers—rather than enterprise dealership groups. If a label is useful, think of Shopwerks as an independent, integrated shop-management platform, or iDMS, with full-system intelligence and automation without dealer-centric positioning.
Yes. During this limited-time promotion, existing Shopwerks customers can receive 25% of the revenue from customers they refer for the life of the referred account while it remains active. For example, if your referral pays $400 per month, you receive $100 per month. Referral earnings are applied to your Shopwerks bill first, and if your earned amount exceeds your bill, Shopwerks can pay the remaining balance to you. Program eligibility and promotional terms apply.
Shopwerks is developed by Ecrasystems, a technology company that has delivered tailored solutions for small businesses for 10+ years. Since 2020, the team has focused 100% on building the Shopwerks cloud-based powersports shop-management platform for independent repair, parts and motorcycle shops.
Yes. Shopwerks includes a complete WordPress dealership website that is connected to your Shopwerks instance so core dealership data can flow to the site (inventory listings, service-related estimators, and other shop tools) without extra busywork. The site supports full eCommerce for parts, accessories, and major units, and it is typically compatible with common payment gateways and merchant accounts you already use. If you need a gateway or merchant account, there are straightforward options available—and POS hardware can be added where needed.
We support domain setup end-to-end. If you already own a domain name, you keep full ownership—typically you only update DNS records to point to our servers. If you need a new domain, they are often under $20/year. We commonly recommend Cloudflare Registrar because pricing is strong and you can grant limited access so we can help with only what is needed.
